1. scope of application

The terms of use apply to our platform and all related services (tournament planner, tournament finder, etc.).

2. responsible for the organisation of the tournaments and the content

CoachingArea does not organise tournaments running on the domains of the organisers. Our users have the possibility to create and manage their own tournaments.

It is solely the responsibility of the respective organiser to run the scoring and organisation of the tournaments. It is the responsibility of the user to create the content. We cannot provide any organisational information. It is advisable to contact the respective organiser in such situations, especially if the following situations are involved:
A participant is deregistered, the way to the tournament is not found, an item is lost, a result is considered incorrect, a participant is misspelled.

3. inappropriate content

Advertising for other tournament planners, tournament finders or similar competing products is also prohibited on our platform.

It is possible to report content at any time by e-mail to info@coachingarea.net if content violates these rules. Our staff will review the information and block it if necessary.

4. use of our widgets

  • modify widget content through client code such as JavaScript and CSS
  • inserting widgets that hide the link to our website
  • using these widgets on a page that violates laws, third party rights or morality, in particular including discriminatory, racist, populist, anti-Semitic, sexist, misogynistic, transphobic, homophobic, violent or harmful to minors content

Without explicit permission, only the following steps may be taken:

  • If the link to our site is not hidden, the size can be adjusted.
  • Adjustments that could also be generated by our generator to ensure a uniform appearance of several widgets.

5. use of our trademarks

You need our explicit permission to use our name. It is possible to ask us by e-mail (info@coachingarea.net).

6. condition of the software

Users can only use the software in the current version on our domains. Users confirm that they always use the version of the software provided by us.

It is possible that the software contains bugs, such as incorrect calculations of tournament schedules, which may affect the user experience. Therefore, it is not advisable to use the software in sensitive areas. We are constantly working to fix bugs as quickly as possible with sufficient speed. Users accept that there may be bugs in what we offer.

7. changes to the software

We reserve the right to change the software at any time in order to

  • carry out maintenance work,
  • correct errors,
  • make it easier to use, or
  • add new functions.

We reserve the right to remove or significantly change features with prior notice by email to registered users. If a change occurs within an already booked and paid period, users with a paid account will have the option to receive a special notice.
