Looking to the future, it is expected that the role of the goalkeeper will continue to gain importance, especially in build-up play. The ability to act as an eleventh outfield player could soon become the norm. Additionally, advancing technological developments may bring new training approaches and performance evaluation methods that further enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of goalkeeper training.
