After my first season, I realised that the organisational tasks like filling free weekends with matches & tournaments were time-consuming and complicated. I wanted to solve this problem in order to make coaches daily life’s easier. After years of concept work and constant development, we have now designed a product that exceeds this solution by far. The progress CoachingArea can bring to amateur sports and youth development is my life's work.”

What is this?
Christian joined CoachingArea. In the first chapter of our journey together, we first spoke to many people from sport and business to find out how a company can work that creates real value for amateur sport. Together we founded CoachingArea GmbH in 2020 and drew up a concept for a platform that would not only solve individual organisational problems, but also simplify communication that requires several user groups.

How would this even look like?
Carlo joined CoachingArea. In the second chapter, we started the product design phase in cooperation with Interactive Pioneers. We first conducted user interviews and surveys to understand exactly what the community wanted. Based on this, we designed a prototype and had it tested by users to find out what the product should look like.

Let's start with this!
Samuel joined CoachingArea. In the third chapter, we went into product development. We started with an MVP that included a tournament planner and a tournament finder, knowing that many more valuable features would be added later. In November 2023, we launched a beta version.

Let's get feedback!
Our product has been on the market since the beginning of 2024. We spend a lot of time talking to users, collecting feedback and improving our product on a weekly basis. Since then, we have added friendly matches to the finder, published a league planner and constantly improved our tournament planner. We are currently working on the release of a pitch booking tool.
